I had no idea this coffeehouse was here and I drove through here many times! Mestiza Coffeehouse is just below Holt Blvd at the corner of Euclid and Transit Street (across the backside of the post office) My first visit was on the recommendation of one of my notary clients whom I met there. It's spacious inside (also has tables outside) with a very nice selection of baked pastries and a variety of coffee flavors (iced or hot). I had an iced vanilla latte, and delicious. My second visit was just very recent. This time I had the Spanish Latte (recommended by a customer in line) - great choice! I had it over ice and it was very delicious along with an almond croissant. The customer service is great! The employees are nice! I love supporting small businesses such as this one and when I'm in the area again, I plan to return here again!

I've been wanting to try this spot since we moved here about 5 months ago. I wish I wouldn't have waited so long. The ambiance of the shop is amazing. There is a small town vibe that goes on here. People were outside with their dogs. People meeting friends and neighbors. I saw a lot of younger adults working in the back bakery area. All of the workers along with the manager were so helpful. I got the Iced Cojeta coffee. My wife got the Spanish Latte. We also shared a ham, cheese, and jalapeño croissant. My Cojeta iced coffee was delicious. It was not too sweet at all.. But the star was the Spanish Latte. It was delicious. The cinnamon brought it all together. The croissant was very tasty and you can tell it was made with love. Please support this small business! WE want to see them around for a long time.

I came to run some errands in the area while I was there my partner went to find a coffee shop & came across this spot. He brought me back a vanilla latte & a ham & cheese croissant. That croissant was seriously so delicious & I now know why they sell out. The coffee was delicious as well. I've returned on another occasion & it's really cute inside! Coffee still delicious & the pastries I've tried are super yummy!

I never go to downtown Ontario, but I wish I found out about Mestiza sooner. The coffee's good, but it's the pastries that are what I really come here for. It's like Porto's but not exactly. They make their pastries in house and I think they outsource it too because I want to say I've had one of their fruity croissants at Lucky Rabbit coffee in Upland? I'm a huge fan of Cream Pan in Tustin, specifically their strawberry custard croissants and this is the first place in the area that I've found some! I tried the turkey Jalapeno croissant and it was so good! I also tried the iced Spanish latte and it's my go-to drink there. I randomly tried their ginger pig cookie and it was DELICIOUS as well as their fruit croissant which is custard with various berries on it and also delicious. They have indoor and outdoor seating and the place itself is in this old building but it's so cute! I definitely would recommend this for a coffee or lunch date. Also, if you need to bring something to a get-together or meeting you could pick up a few items from the bakery here!

After going to this place I wish Ithere was one in my neck of the woods. It's easy to find because the have Americana banners atop their building. Very nice touches with tables and chairs outside and inside and big colorful bouquets of flowers at the entranceway. Your greeted by a case of gorgeous cake slices, unique cookies savory croissants and such tasty pastries to choose from. I got the "turkey and cheese croissant" and a Cranberry Oatmeal cookie". So different tasting. The do have beautiful whole cakes too! Many hot and icy cols drinks. The feel is so artsy and cozy.

Loved the coffee but the pastry I got was good but overpowered by the filling. Still recommend it.

I love Mestiza coffee house! I am absolutely obsessed with the Jalapeño Ham & Cheese croissant. It is perfect! They use fresh jalapeños that give the croissant the perfect amount of spice which I prefer and cannot find anywhere in the area. The croissants are flaky and buttery. The guava and cheese pastry is delicious as well. You really cannot go wrong with any of the baked goods. The service is always great! The staff is friendly and helpful in explaining the coffee options. Please stop by and support Mestiza! 10/10 recommend!

Wow! Wow! Nothing less than 5 stars, this place gives hope to the food service industry. This place is spectacular, real deal everything. I'm just going to tell you this is how all food places should be, they have a great take on all things Delicious DELICIOUS.. coffee and Pastry, On a scale of would I come back, Hell Yeah, until I have tried everything in the case... this place makes me want to work here to learn the craft of hospitality and discipline.

Such a cute coffee cafe! I just love greenery especially when it's real lol! The ambiance is here feels light and refreshing. They have a wide variety of food and coffee selection. From your sweet tooth to satisfying your hunger with a Cheddar Jalapeño Croissant! I tried the Spanish Latte and it was very delicious! Not too sweet so that is always a huge plus. I love to taste my coffee with a hint of sweetness.. There is plenty of parking across the street there's a public parking lot or street parking. Makes it easy access since it's right on the corner. Heaven was so sweet and friendly. I'll definitely be coming back!

I loved the ambiance of this coffee shop in the heart of Ontario. It reminded me of Mexico City with references of Frida Kahlo throughout the cafe. I ordered their Iced Americano. This particular iced beverage only comes in one size. The Americano itself was good and strong. This place was quite popular with the students trying to do work inside. I also thought the service was fantastic as the guy at the register took the time to ask us how we were doing. I don't even remember the last time when someone at the register was engaging quite like that. I'd definitely come back again. There is a parking lot behind the store, but it would be easier to just find parking on the street when possible.
